On this date 10 years ago keyboardist Keith Emerson passed, leaving behind some of rock’s greatest music and memories of exciting stage performances. Whether wrestling and sticking daggers into his Hammond L-100 organ, playing a spinning airborne piano or assaulting the crowd with his Moog ribbon controller/pyro launcher, the superb musicianship and accompanying theatrics were nothing less than spectacular.
