A message from Danny about his friend:
“We lost one of the greatest song writers/guitarists I ever had the pleasure of gracing the stage with. The “Pig” was a legend, who was loved and admired by all he encountered. His character was larger than life and he had a heart of gold to boot.”
On a personal note: I (BMB) only met Rand once or twice at the loft, but during one of these occasions he said something funny, if not profound: we were looking at the internet photos from the “alien autopsy” video when it first appeared, and he commented: “I understand you gentlemen trade diamonds for dog shit.”
